Alastair McAllister is a harpsichord maker who enjoys an international reputation.
He completed his first instrument more than 60 years ago and continues to be a lover of both the instrument and its music.
Living and working in Melbourne, Alastair, along with David Durance, is the longest standing Member of Worco and a former a Chairperson of the Co-operative.
To date, he has published 3 books: Talking Harpsichords: Snippets about John Bull, and Sonnets and Sundries.
